One adult female hummer traveler sighted at one of our last two hanging feeders. She was at the feeder for two minutes, drinking heavily and departed in a southward direction. It had been raining off and on most of the morning, temperatures had dropped from the 60's the day before down to only a high of 53 degrees this day. Winds throughout the day were steady at 8-10 mph. Night time temperatures were to hover at about 45 degrees, with a slight warming predicted for the next day. Further possible sightings will find me returning here to update. Maybe my 2015 season isn't quite over just yet!
