Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 10/02/2015

Number: 2

Still have two RT juveniles at feeders. Surprised they are still here since the temperature has really dropped and it has been raining heavily. One juvenile is almost constantly feeding from early morning until right before dark and the other feeds much less frequently. Actually, I suspect there may be others I haven't seen since I hear hummingbird sounds in the trees when these two are feeding. However, I have not seen any diving bombing of one another or fighting over feeders so I can only say for certain I have seen these two at which time they are feeding. I waited to post this because I thought for sure they would migrate in the next morning since the weather is turning cold. However, the next day they were here all day. I am dumbfounded as to why they are still here although, I will really miss these angels when they are gone. Praying these little ones take off in time to make it South and have a safe journey.
