Another gorgeous day with temps in the low 60's and a light easterly wind, overnight temps are hovering @ 48-50 degrees. During 2 hours I spotted 86 monarchs. They were mostly feeding on golden rod and appeared to be famished as they lingered on the plants and took pleasure with a spiral dance when they encountered other monarchs.
I spotted one monarch with a tag 1888TAGGING. I believe the number is UMM 678 does anyone know where this little one journeyed from? Photo attached.
