The juvenile male has already moved on. Through the day spotted hummers coming to the feeders,and a couple visited the stretocarpella flowers on my deck. I have reported sighting three hummingbirds,but I made five sightings and my daughter made one,which all could have been individual birds. None of them lingered long enough to observe their habits and get to know them,and we never saw more than one at a time. Believe these to be the last of the migrants,hurrying south. As far as I can tell,none of them seem to be lingering.
