Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 10/06/2015

Number: 22

Monarchs are still migrating through in fair numbers. They were flying in to the garden, nectaring primarily on galardia and New England aster in late afternoon. However, they were so hungry they were even nectaring on Lady-in-red salvia. I could pick them off the flowers they were so desperate to feed. Fairly low winds and temperatures in the 60s and 70s.
