We had 1 male monarch visiting us all day today from 10:20 a:m until 5:30 p:m. He was busy feeding on butterfly bushes and sunning himself at times in the cedars. Weather at 4 p:m was
mostly sunny, winds NW at 14 km/hr and temp of 21C feeling like 23C. *Note: We had other visitors as well today: 2 red admirals, 2 clouded sulphurs, 1 question mark, 1 buckeye, 1 milbert's tortoiseshell, 1 silver-spotted skipper and numerous cabbage whites. Was a great day for the butterfly enthusiast!
