Monarch PEAK Migration
Sightings report image

Date: 10/07/2015

Number: 215

On a beautiful sunny 70 degree day with a light NW wind I spotted 215 monarchs in two hours from 12:30 to 2:30 pm. The monarchs were accompanied by Buckeye Butterflies and huge honey bees. Some of the monarchs had damaged wings yet persevered, and refueled while feeding on golden rod.
