Monarch Larva Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 08/28/2015

Number: 1

We saw this single Monarch caterpillar munching on some milkweed in our yard. We went back to the location a couple of days later, but we could not find it.

This is the first Monarch caterpillar we have seen in Colorado.

We live in the high plains/Ponderosa pine habitat, SE of Denver, at 6500'.
