Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 10/08/2015

Number: 3

3 different females. I saw the 1 that still unable to figure out the feeder continuing to feed on purple Sage Flowers. She is getting food supplies from other areas. Saw her once in the afternoon around 4 pm. She did not return before dark. The other 2 females came to the feeder at different times to "fuel up" before nightfall. I am guessing the smaller female must be a Ruby-Throat while the larger female must be a Black-chinned because of their slight difference in size and length. The smaller one is still too thin being this late in the season.
