WooHoo! I might, just might, have a Monarch roost tonight! From 1:15 to 1:30 my count went from 8 to 11 in the backyard and I didn't even check the meadow. I have the trees they like so if they want to stay around to fatten up and wait for a good wind that's fine with me. However, they do need to move on soon as our wild nectar plants are looking very shabby with only sunflowers, crownbeard, senecio and asters still hanging in there.
