First sighting of the season; all monarchs sighted were flying over Lake Jocassee. I was out on the lake for 3 hours between 10:45 and 1:45 PM. If I'd been out there to count butterflies I bet I'd have seen a lot more. As it was, I was conducting a lake tour so I had other things to concentrate on.
