I have been seeing at least 1 adult male Ruby-throated hummingbird in my yard. Today I was able to get some photos of one at the feeder. When viewing the photos, I noticed a band on the bird's leg and after cropping and zooming in on the band, I could see the "7". I believe this bird was banded in my yard on 1/19/2015 by Fred Bassett.
The entire band# is probably J41357. He has returned to my yard! Yay! Hoping the other 2 males that were banded that same day also return to my yard this Winter.
