700-1,000 Monarchs in small clusters on boxed or replanted Eucalyptus trees.....
wet and cold 9am

I saw the monarchs at sunset the day before (10/09) and I note were the clusters are so the next morning I can tell if they made it thorough the night in the same cluster patterns..........the wind was from the south.......these are on the trees i planted to fill in some damage done by the city.
