I had two female butterflies just leave to head South. We named them Thelma and Louise! They both emerged yesterday after going through the whole process on some milkweed planted near my porch. I have 5 more chrysalises that I know of out and about in my yard. I have seen very few migrating butterflies this year and am hoping they were pushed further West due to the bad weather the Eastern seaboard experienced last week. I have had very good success with activity this year on my milkweed though.
