Female ruby throat has been nectaring at our flowers throughout the day for about 4 days now. We have a little bit of penta, lantana, mexican bush sage, and turk's cap (malvaviscous - not the lily) still blooming. This female hummer will not use our hummingbird feeder - we have changed the sugar water twice for her and she continues to ignore it - like she doesn't even know what it is. So strange! Have never seen one do this before!
