At 12:21 PM, I observed a monarch heading south about a foot above the beach along the Lake Huron shoreline at Harrisville State Park flying against a 15-25 mph wind from the SSW. I saw no more monarchs to 1:51 PM when it started to rain. Temperature dropping into 60's after a high of 72F. This is the fourth monarch for October, 2015. Last year, I had 40 monarchs by this date in October.
