Between 10 am and early evening, 12-15 Monarchs counted at any given time nectaring on Marigolds and Jerusalem Artichoke.

Was slightly unexpected because it seemed like Monarch activity had completely dropped off the entire week before these individuals were sighted. All of the Monarchs looked very fresh and unweathered.

Abnormally calm wind for the area all weekend and unseasonably warm.
