Hiking at Leslie Spit by Lake Ontario midafternoon on Thanksgiving day we saw 2 Monarchs on purple asters. They were large and likely on their way towards Mexico. Whether or not they will make it is another story. It was a lovely sight. Monarch Butterflies have been a rare sight for us in Toronto this year, except close to Lake Ontario. Sunny and ~20 C.
