On Monday, October 12,2015 a female Monarch butterfly was in my garden at about 12pm noon. She flew from my yard and a neighbors yard for better part of the afternoon nectoring on butterfly bushes. The monarch was in very good shape and large. She looked very healthy and new. She seemed to be alone but not sure.It is late in the season so I was shocked to see a monarch. I had released three captive monarchs earlier in the season which I reported at the time. Sincerely Mary Reilly, Rocky Point , New York 11778
