Three monarchs flying south today! (numbers 10 - 12 for this year). All were about 20 feet off the ground flapping south without interruption. The three were sighted in the morning over the space of an hour almost evenly spaced in time...unfortunately they were the only three to pass through today...This is the first day I have seen more than 2 in a day this year.
Sunny, with cool start (48 F at 8 am, 71 F for the high), (a few mare's tail clouds sighted--mostly growing out of contrails), breezy around 5-10 mph from NW
