Much to my surprise, I glanced out the living room window this evening to see a Ruby Throat eyeing the feeder. She stopped and took a drink and buzzed off to the west. I made some fresh, warm nectar hoping she would come back, but I haven't seen her since. That was at 5:20 pm, so I'm hoping I might get another visit in the morning. I have noticed that the travelers don't seem to be as trusting as the summer residents.
