By fives to tens at a time they came to water at sprinklers on full blast in my front and back yards starting at about 2:30 pm and stopping at almost dark. Some stayed the night (10/12) in my many pecan trees and one Spanish oak. I turned the sprinklers on again early this morning (10/13), but none came. One was in my yard this afternoon at the sprinkler in my back yard. I had no nectar for them. I am joyful to see them and sad that no plants are flowering here.
