I still have 2 females, getting little fat bellies now, short tail so suspect they are this year's fledglings. Still chasing from feeders. Have 4 feeders and flowers. Monarda has rebloomed.
Always have early birds in spring and stragglers into late October. Has been chilly 50 degree nights. Days have warmed to 78. Always worry they won't make it south.
