Butterflies have successfully emerged from two out of the three chrysalis formed in my Sept garden. The last one is clear tonight so I am expecting the 3rd butterfly to emerge tomorrow. I was a little worried about all three as they each were in the pupa stage for 25 days ~ a lot longer than what I've read they usually are? We had some cooler weather so not sure if that effects their development or not? Fortunately we are experiencing warmer than normal temperatures so hopefully they'll all make it to Mexico safely.
