Amidst the breezy, cloudy, threatening-rain weather @11:20 am, as I walked from the main building to the front of the Wason Education Center, what do I spy standing outside the front entrance on the cobblestones, bracing itself against the wind? A newly emerged female monarch facing the door! Took in, fed, tagged! She is in her own special cage for release tomorrow @ Virginia Living Museum's Monarch Fest! [The weather cleared enough at the end of the next day to make her safe release possible at Monarch Waystation #299]
