At about 7pm on Oct. 12, 2015 I happened to be outside when I noticed 5 individual Monarch butterflies as they flew southward at different times over my house out in western San Saba county. It was dusk and I thought they might stop and roost in our oak trees but they kept going. I'll try to watch for more in the coming days.
