Sightings report image

Date: 10/15/2015

Number: 1

Students made several observations of fall in our outdoor environment. They recorded evidence of trees losing leaves and changing colors. They watched a spider under one of the trees for several minutes to see what its behavior was. They found sweetgum balls, pinecones, and acorns that had fallen from the trees above. Many bushes and grasses have started to turn brown. Our temperatures are beginning to get cooler as we get further into the season of fall. The temperature in our area was a high temp of 71 and a low of 52.
