Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 10/15/2015

Number: 45

I had been seeing a dozen or so monarchs in my garden. This morning there were many more nectaring on tropical milkweed and Gregg' blue mist Eupatorium. They were enjoying the sprinkler. We are unusually hot for October - upper 90's. A norther is due in tomorrow which should lower the temp to mid 80's. Then we should slide into the upper 70's. I hope that will bring in a large number like we had last year.
