Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 10/08/2015

Number: 1

Last "regular" from this year's families fed on Oct 5. One new hummer must have been passing through because it showed up mid-afternoon October 6, fed repeatedly until afternoon October 8 and that was it. None since.
My earliest arrival was April 10. Had a banner year with thousands of visits of 2 dozen or more individuals, runnning the gamut of broad tails, rufous, black-chinned and caliopes, adults and juveniles. My July's Florida visitors were so jealous! I had to take their pictures stading next to the feeders!
I'm keeping my feeders refreshed for another month in case a tired and hungry stray shows up, as I've had some years, sometimes into November! Including during storms! Happy to help these beautiful creatures survive their harsh migrations.
Will report new sightings (if/when). migration.
Godspeed little friends.
