Well Chilly Pearl is still here in spite of the frost. Freeze tonight and I don't know that the 'Black & Blue' salvia will survive. I cleaned and refilled a feeder and put it right in the patch she likes to nectar in. No luck. She only feeds on the salvia. I don't think this one will make it. She's either old, in poor health, or is missing the migration gene? If I find her unresponsive (not likely) and can get her to a wildlife rehabilitator I will do so.
