I found 3 - 4th instar caterpillars and 1 about an inch long Oct. 13 on tropical milkweed in my habitat garden.
i moved them onto a pretty lush potted tropical mw in case we have a freeze before they have time to emerge, and I can move them indoors.
Turns out 2 started hook hanging Oct. 14.
