I just received a report of over 100,000 monarchs counted over a 5.4 hour period (7:23 to 13:00) on October 13. The wind was blowing from the north at 5 mph. This observation was 25 miles southwest of the Amistad National Recreation Area at Hwy 277 North campground where we reported 23,800 monarchs in 1.16 hours (8:50 - 10:00 am) on the same day.
