This was an incidental sighting. My husband and I were fishing from our dock on Norris Lake between noon and 12:45 p.m. when we observed a bald eagle soaring overhead. It was flying toward to the west and spent long periods of time circling over portions of the Big Creek area of the lake. I snapped a photo with my iPhone. It's not very good, but if you zoom in you can see the unmistakable white head.
