On Friday, October 16, 2015, I was visiting the Island Beach State Park in Seaside Park, NJ. Actually the total number may have been much higher than 20, I was just estimating. But the whole time we were walking on this particular path, about 10-15 minutes, the pattern continued. As we walked along the path in back of the dunes, there was a constant parade of monarchs, about every 40 seconds or so. I was happy to see them but concerned about the forecast for the immanent frost within a day or so. One at a time passage of monarchs from easterly direction. Seemed to be coming from the direction of the ocean, every few minutes another would fly.(Time:approximately 3pm)
