Our friends from Thanksgiving Point came out and helped the whole third grade at our school plant tulips. First we learned that bulbs have protective layers that help them survive through the winter, and they have a baby flower inside. Then we each planted a bulb pointy side up and about 6 inches deep. It was a fantastic day!
