Sightings report image

Date: 10/16/2015

Number: 1

The students noticed changes in the outdoor area at our school since our last visit. They observed different types of mushrooms growing and they noticed that many pinecones seem to be dropping from the pine trees above. They recorded that the air was chillier than in the past few days and the temperature at 11:30 was 67 degrees. They saw 2-3 different types of butterflies flying about and recorded that the leaves came in colors of brown, red, and yellow. We patiently watched a type of flying insect try to get into an ant hill.
