Today was 58 F and sunny in Western North Carolina with a slight breeze. My eye caught a glimpse of orange moving across the parking lot as I was wrapping up an appointment. Much to my delight I was able to observe 16 Monarchs per hour heading southward between noon & 1pm and 18 per hour from 1pm to 2pm.
