Sightings report image

Date: 10/20/2015

Number: 1

Today the students in this class disocvered that we had 11 hours and 11 minutes of sunlight today. It was sunny outside but quite chilly when they checked the thermometer. In the shade it was 54 degrees. Students observed crunchy leaves and leaves of all different colors. Mnay acorns, sweetgum balls, leaves, and sticks have fallen to the ground under the trees in the wooded areas. Some of the leaves were wet on one side. The students thought that maybe the sun had evaporated the water on the side that was facing upward. Students made a collage of the signs of fall that they collected.
