I thought all my hummingbirds left and while outside with the dogs at 7am I saw one feeding off the flowers. The bird was buzzing in and out real quick hitting the flowers.
Then at 8am I heard the bird off my deck hitting the plants up there.
I will be taking down the majority of my feeders but leaving prime location feeders up. I keep some feeder up till the freeze makes it impossible. Last year I had a possible Rofous (1 orange tail feather) in November for a couple weeks.
