These chrysalis are the results of a Monarch butterfly garden build SU15 (June) with my 8 year old granddaughter. They found several chrysalis this past weekend. They never noticed the caterpillars. We planted several dessert milkweed plants in the garden in addition to a more tropical milkweed plant (we had a shady area). I actually live in PA and report from Pine Grove Mills PA.
