Some observations by the students today were that the temperature outside felt cool, but not as cold as the past few days. They noticed the leaves in colors of red, yellow, and brown and some of the leaves had holes in them or were spotted. They were busy collecting pine cones, acorns, pine needles, and sweetgum balls. The ground was damp from dew and the grass is turning brown.Someone noticed that their class tree's leave had changed to mostly red. They brought in a leaf sample to figure out what kind of tree it is, based on the leaf's shape.
