Today the first graders observed that our Tulip garden soil was hard, old, and dry. We dug 6-7 inches down to place our tulip bulbs in the dirt. It was a sunny cool morning, but it is supposed to warm up to 75 degrees today! We placed the tulip bulbs with the pointy side toward the sky. The tulip bulbs were brownish and redish.
