I was the passenger in the car, and I was looking at a mountain field of wildflowers, and there was a Monarch flying from flower to flower!-- happy. :).
We have already had a very heavy frost and 25 degree nighttime temps. but Today, yesterday and tomorrow are in the 70's.
The mountain field was one of the places I considered yesterday, to release my last two monarchs.
But I drove about 6 to 7 more miles south and let them go. I don't think this monarch would be one of the two that I released; unless the wind blew it North??--(It Was a breezy day, with wind from the south.).
It was so nice to see the monarch today!! :)
