Oct. 10 thru Oct. 13, 5 -7 Monarchs sighted each day in my garden, most nectaring on Tithonia (rotundafolia tall flowering cultivar). Shorter cultivar doesn't seem to produce as much nectar - Monarchs overwhelmingly favor rotundafolia.

This was a very light year for Monarchs in my garden during migration. Very few sighted during the season, as well.
