First we plucked the weeds from the garden. Then we put soil and sand in the garden. Next we dug holes 18 cm deep. We measured the holes. We put the bulbs in with pointy side up and the flat side down. We filled up the holes. We put on a metal mesh so that squirrels do not eat the bulbs.
