Ms. Riley's first grade class went out to plant tulips in our test garden with Ms. Boser during REACH class. They worked with a partner to examine the tulip, dig the hole and plant the bulb pointed side up.
It was a cool, sunny, windy day. The weather forecast said it was going to freeze overnight so we wanted to beat the cold weather and plant our tulip bulbs.
It was fun but it felt good to get inside out of the wind and cold. We hope our tulips bloom in the spring. We can't wait!
