Found a chrysalis on our kayak on Washington Island, WI, on 10/10/2015. We relocated it indoors due to freezing weather on the weekend of 10/17. Monarch hatched on 10/22/2015, and we released it into the wild in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. (We were traveling back home from Washington Isl., and it looked like hatching was soon to happen.)
