my friend in south florida, past two weeks, saw monarchs, eggs, caterpillars and now cocoons, she moved them into her screen in pool and waiting for them to mature into beautiful butterflies, she has milkweed planted on her property and has for many years seen eggs, caterpillars and maturing butterflies, it seems that not all of the monarchs venture to mexico,
