10/21/2015 Monarch Butterfly Sighting

3:00 PM; mostly sunny today; high temperature pushed into the low 70s. (We'd already had a hard freeze earlier in the week.) Spotted a Monarch butterfly as it flew low over our backyard. With word that many Monarchs are already moving into Mexico this week, this one is clearly a late straggler; however, it was headed west-south-west. :-)
