After almost a week of winds being from the east and northeast, winds shifted from the north after passage of a cool front. We are finally seeing a very small trickle of monarchs. Saw about 5-6 being blown southward. They would make a U-turn when they saw my flowerbed of Gregg's Mistflower and they would come back to feed on the flowers.
